Green-orientated Application at Royston
(Date:2008-12-01)
Royston Labels, which manufactures self-adhesive labels utilizing a range of UV flexo and rotary silk-screen printing, has recently kicked off a new variety of PET self-adhesive labels. The brand-new labels are believed to be made from at least 80% packaging waste.
The product, which is developed by Avery Dennison, M&H Plastics and Royston, is said to be suitable for a large number of packaging applications. The performance and function of the product will be as good as the virgin PET.
Some products around the world embracing green ideas could set its image along with the recycled implementations.
Paul Clayton, managing director of the company, said “the new labels offered customers ‘significant commercial benefits’ and the opportunity to enhance their 'green' credentials in the wider market place".
